TEAM NEWS: CAN SIGALSPORT CELEBRATE ITS FIRST DP RACING ANNIVERSARY WITH A PODIUM FINISH AT MID-OHIO?

Photo by John Thawley Los Angeles, June 18, 2007 -. The Luggage Express Team Sigalsport BMW will compete in the seventh round of the 2007 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series when the Rolex series continues its season June 22-24 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

The EMCO Gears Classic race will mark the halfway point of the 2007 season. After six races, Bill Auberlen and Matt Alhadeff, co-drivers of the 05 Luggage Express Dinan BMW Riley already have one victory in their bag and will do everything they can do to score another podium finish next Saturday night at the EMCO Gears classic.

The Mid-Ohio race marks Sigalsport's first Daytona Prototype racing anniversary. A year ago, Gene Sigal decided to take his team to the next level and in only 12 DP starts, the Los Angeles based team became one of the most competitive teams in the series.

Matt Alhadeff and Bill Auberlen like the Mid-Ohio racetrack and are anxious to start practicing. The 05 Luggage Express Dinan BMW Riley received some updates since the Glen race and the team is extremely motivated to win again.
